i just bought a i max2000 ,and was trying figure out if i should
ground the antenna, or not since it was fiberglass. i'm sorry i did
not explain it very well, i'm not a very good typer so i sometime
take short cuts. i have heard tha the ground plane kit was not
woth the cost and time. i have a bunch of homes around me
is there any filters i should get to help with tvi problem before i
start using the cb.

If I read it right, the Imax 2000 is grounded through the radio and does not require a external ground
