MSN Live Messenger Locks Up

I've been having problems over the last few days with Messenger Live locking up during log in. So I deleted the program and tried to reinstall. Now it's locking up trying to open the executable installation file. Any one else experience a problem like this? BTW, this is on my PC and not my Mac.

I never use mine, but today I been getting pop-up's that say my Messenger went out-of-date on April 2. And I need to up-date it...Could be that yours also is out-of-date, and you just need to do a up-date.

Even though I don't use mine, I ended up having to do the up-date deal, just to stop the dang pop-up's!

It was slow this afternoon when my wife tried logging on. Maybe the bandwidth just wasnt free and available? I dunno.

I ran Win Doctor and then reset my computer. Now it has allowed me to install the whole thing.

Must be one of those windows things. If this wasn't my company computer, I'd be using my Mac.

Mobile messenger has been working.
To bad Verizon doesnt keep it connected however.

Microsoft released Service Pack 3 (SP3) awhile back. It includes updates to some of the programs - including Messenger. Have you updated your OS? You may have conflicts between old and new versions.
