Decided to pick up a new microphone for my radio, and after looking at several different brands and models I finally decided on the Heil GM4. It is a dual element dynamic mic with a full-range "Pro" broadcast mic element for studio quality broadcast and the HC-4 "DX Dream" element for that cutting edge needed to break through the pile ups during DX. Switching between elements is done by a flip of the toggle switch mounted on the mic. I also picked up the HS2 PTT hand switch and CC1im cable making it a simple plug and play installation.
