I traded a forum member some CB equipment for a yaesu 2800m or a Icom 2200h. I have a handheld dualband radio(radioshack HTX-420). For a base I am going to use echolink. Thanks for the congrats and still waiting for my callsign lol.

And to think Hookie was afraid he couldn't pass the test. I told you you would do fine, my young friend.

Oh Great, we lost another one and we won't hear from him. He is a Big Boy now. Think of us Cb'rs ones in a while when you key the Mic and talk to Spain or Germany or Japan.
Just kidding Hookie, That's great to hear and hope you keep us MUD DUCKS Informed on the greater things in Radio!

That's right, 2 meter and the other bands in the spectrum are fun, but I LOVE 11 meter just as much now as I did back before I got my ticket. Good luck and enjoy.
