Mine came in today
Got my 2 Texas Ranger mobiles today 1 of each .
Both Receive and Transmit ok into dummy load. The modified version is definitely a swinger on AM with 2 1/2 watts swinging 35 output .
Put them both back in the box and added them to my radio pile .You can never have enough radios :D

Re: Mine came in today
Looks like the Competition radio has issues HIGH SWR on SSB like it goes into oscillation Go to keyup radio on SSB it shows HIGH SWR talk into mic the swr drops to 1.1 and AM has no mic audio .That is weird. INTO DUMMY LOAD which is broadbanded SSB talks normal .I was thinking about installing the FD-1 Competition in the wifes vehicle for vacation trips with amp .
