I like to use 28-40 just sit up there and move around. Also i like to drop down to some of those lower free bands it's easier to talk to people there they don't run much power so with a couple hundred you really feel good about yourself.

+1 on the 26 and 28, those are my favorites as well. Sometimes we get it really strong on 17 which is our local standby. I think its because there are so many 10-8 stations in the are that they "stir it up" sometimes. We've given breaks away only to realize it was some guy in New York, etc, asking "where are you guys at? You sound like locals..."

Channel 6 is nuts....i always wonder what stirs them up because when it rains it pours on there. The band will be closed and youll hear them in there dropping mauls but then there will be days where the band is open or closed and there wont be a soul.....somebody needs to write a wiki article on the superbowl channel 6

No doubt Twister, is always good talking to you. Got you a good setup in the Diesel.
I mainly hit 28 then will switch to 17 and 20 then some on 22 when I try to reach up north to Michigan. I get to talk to some of the people up in Michigan on 28 too, which is where I am originally from, and is good to hear people from the home state.
I used to talk almost exclusively on ch 1(back between 1999-2001) when I lived in Michigan and would talk to some of the people down here in Texas that are my neighbors now.
