Hey guys if I decided to use the 4' Silverloads with a Davemade M200 would I be alright?
SWR is 1.3 through out the reg 40 so that shouldnt be an issue

I know I will be OK with the wilson 5000 but I was just wondering about the silverloads

The rated power on the 4' silverloads is 800W
The M200 should be putting out 300-500

hmmm donno ive always been told ya dont wanna go over half of your maximum watt rating on ya equipment which would put ya at 400 for a 800watt rated antenna. But you said the amp peaked at 500 so i donno i tryed lol

I would go with the Wilson 5000, height is might, W5000 give you an extra foot and prob. better swr's.

I think that you would be pushing the limits with the SWR as high as 1.3, and with the duals, and with the antenna design limits.

I've heard that the competition class amps are less forgiving to antenna problems. Kinda like K-mart tires on a top fuel dragster.

You may be OK...But like posted before, you would be pushing the limit's...I would rather go with a antenna with at least a 1000w rateing.

That mag mount that bob has is cool lookin and if its like the one that I saw on Madhadders truck it would work and let you run a Prd 10K. That high up would give you more TX RX and you would get more out of that amp.

I run a X-200 with a 3' silverload rated at 700W, no problems yet.
