As in the K26, it's a 6" shank double coil setup if that is what you are refering to? Gotta URL for Clay's?jessejamesdallas wrote:Tryed my best to read thru all those post's....But WOW!
If were still talking about the 10K...Way I was reading the post's. Your needing a small or rather short version of the Predator 10K. There is one that's shorter than the 9" shaft one you were looking at.
It's the Predator 10KSW. Use's two small coils, each has been re-designed and placed on a 6" shaft. Makeing this antenna the shortest 10K avalible.
It is avalible from Clay's rdio sop. (Had to miss-spell "radio shop", so the sencors would'nt bleep it out) :Peace!: ...clays also has the best price's on 10K's!
Wanting a Predator 10K but need low profile for Semi

I think I found what you are talking about.
It is called the SW (short whip) version. Signified by K-2-9SW for the 9". I found Clay's website. Tis cheaper by a long shot.
But, Predator10K.com called me with info and is first in line for customer service as well as a sponsor here too.

As for as One antenna vs. 2, a co-phase set-up, I would recomend you just go with the "one-antenna" set-up....No avantage in a Dual or Co-phase set-up, other than "look's", realy. Co-phase will give you a more Directional signel thou. But it's alot less hasel and easyer to set-up just one antenna. And in most case's, ONE works better than TWO!
Welcome to the World Of 10K! Like everyone say's: "IT'S A 10K WORLD!"

I would, but that was'nt the question....He asked "Who had the best price's". Which is Clay's....Mr.RadioActive wrote:Man why not recommend a sponsor? Any sponsor can get you a good price!
I dont barder...If the posted price of a item sounds fair to me, I buy. I dont try cand see if the guy will take less, for whatever he's selling.
Like car-lot's. Most will quote you a price for the thing, then they want to play games for the next hour, while ya try and get them to come off the price...
Then ya got the ones, that claim their prices are as low as they can get....I went to one of these places, just a few weeks ago. They claim'ed that all price's, were posted on the window's, were the low'est possible. Then about 5 min. later, their already trying to lower the price, to get me to buy...I walked out''

Thats why they call them car dealers, its all about the deal. Unfortunatly dealing is a way of business now days. All my customers want to deal and get a better price.
When buying sometimes I ask, sometimes I dont. Depends on the circomstaces. But if price is the only factor involved in a purchase I will shop for the lowest advertised price. The problem I have is that if I am looking as price only - I get what I pay for and wont like it. So mostly I search for the best product that will do what I want it to and then call and see what kind of deal I can get.

Well. Thats basicaly what i do. Generaly I already know what I'm looking for, as for as car sales go's. So I will shop around till I find the best price's. And when I see a car lot, that say's they have the best price's in town, then I will stop by there. But Then when th sales person starts saying he can save you some more money, "if you buy today". Then thats when I start heading toward's the door...Because that's not the way they are advertising. So it tends to make me think, what else is this guy not telling me!
This is one of the good things about shopping on the internet! All the price's are in black & white...Just got to be sure to read the fine-print!
Like on ebay, if you dont watch out...the shipping charges will eat you alive...

If you want to buy from John, thats cool. Sence he mainly sells the 10K, he probably will give you a more "One on One" type help with your purchase...But as for John comeing down off his price's....Thats a pipe-dream! Im sure he has no problems selling Predator 10K's for what he's asking...
