Can someone tell me how to bypass the front end of my 440S and access the modulator through the access ports on the back of the radio....if one can. The manual doesn't tell me much and the sites I've looked at tell me it can be done but don't say how or where. My Icom 735 is port #1 and gives me some outstanding, colorful transmit audio with my rack gear. Would like to do the same with my Kenwood.

Thanks, Mike

OK....I figured it out...it is port #2. The one with the sguare pin pattern. Numbers 11 & 12....eleven being audio and 12 being ground. Works great.
