Difference between A-99 and Imax 2000

How much of a difference is there between the A-99 and Imax 2000? Like what or how much difference in RX and TX is there between a 1/2 wave and 5/8 wave antenna? Is it noticable enough to warrant an antenna upgrade?

Bob, probably not,,,,unless you had a tower, height=power,,,lol,,,I have had both, I like both, but when I moved I bought the A99, and talk skip all the time on it,,,difference you would see probably isn't worth the money,,,,,,now you want difference,,,,,beams,,,but you'll still need the A99

If your A99 snaps and falls apart then upgrade. But I used a A99 forever and talked everywhere on it. The A99 is the best inexpensive antenna on the market. I remember when they came out and all us Big Stick guys switched over to the A99. You werent anyone unless you have a new A99! Now the words Big Stick mean something you get hit in the head with!
