Ball Mount Questions

Hey guys , have any of you ever dealt with the RS ball mount? ......I am planning on getting one but I am curious has to how you hook the coax up on it ......Does it have the regular connector were I can screw my PL-259 on or is it like a stud mount .....thanks

ball mounts you split the wire... hot and ground hookup seperately.

or you can use a ball like this one and have either a split wire, or
screw on pl 259.... anything over 2k i suggest splitting the wire..

Just FYI, I havent seen a RS ball mount in 10 years, but if I recall they never had good teeth, and slipped alot as you drove.

Yup, they did and they also had a plastic base that you attached the screws through which cracked.

RadioActive...they still carry them alright...And as for the bad teeth they use to have, and would slip...

Radio Shack fixed all that! Now, they dont have any teeth! :shock: And all you have to do, is do about 70MPH down the freeway, and watch your antenna lean-back! :wink:
