Galaxy 94hp install in a 2006 Dodge Charger??

#338124

Post by Bug »

Hi guys! I have a Galaxy 94hp that I want to install in a 2006 Dodge Charger that I recently purchased. I was running the 94 in a 2005 Chevy Impala and had it mounted under the dash after modifying the center console slightly. Unfortunately there is no way I can modify the Charger like I did the Impala. I don't have many mounting options that I can see right now and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a clean install.

Thanks in advance, ~Bug~

Hello Bug,
Welcome to the forum. I don't think you are going to be willing to cut up the interior but I do have one suggestion. Look at the laptop mount used in police cars. They are not cheap but it will put the radio where you want it and with a power quick disconnect you can pull it out and put it in the trunk in minutes. The only other place is on the passenger side console but you are loosing a lot of legroom putting it there.

Yep seem to be the best setup and if you put a laptop with an air card on top and the radio underneath you can shoot skip and chat on CBRT, lol. later
