I bought this mic at a hamfest for $5 , the paint was all scratched and the plastic push to talk bar was broken so, i repaired it, and changed the cord for a nice straight cord and sanded it down to the bare metal then painted it red just to be different.

Did you use "Glow in the Dark" paint?
It would look real cool under a strobe light or if you set it up to Light Up when you are Keyed Down on the Mall.
