Hello all!
I had my rig Set up most of yesterday afternoon and had some skip going with the west coast. Talked to California Oregon and Washington like they were a block away. That was pretty cool to me because it was the pretty much the first time I've been able to work skip. Then a bit later I worked a station in Nova Scotia but forgot to get their call numbers. Then Australia started to roll in. Worked a few stations from there but most of the stations i worked i heard them calling my numbers back but pretty much everything else was broken and unreadable. Then I got one in new Zealand and a few in Hawaii. Pretty damn good for a barefoot cobra 148gtl and an inverted v dipole if you ask me!
The stations i worked were
Delta 50 san fran
474 Washington
812 san fran
308 Olympia WA
499 Tacoma WA
538 Portland OR
195 menford OR
239 Washington
161JAY Australia
CT004 Australia
280 Hawaii
World Radio 4169 New Zealand
Everyone but ct004 was on 38lsb
Nate 561 Houston (was calling 561 Galveston tx)
