Had a fun day talking skip from the mobile today. Hit Texas, Florida, South Carolina, Boston and north Ontario all within about a 1/2 hour drive

It was a good day to be mobile today here in Ohio too. Went to the local park and worked several European stations from there. Had one in particular 038 Charlie from Lyon, France where we QSO'd for almost 45 min. I think it's great to work DX but it's even better when you do it from a little old mobile.

I have been able to talk skip like that from a base many times, but never from the mobile. It made the drive to town a lot more fun  it was a good day for sure!

11-08-13 Today was a good day for mobile skip for me. I made contact with fellow CBRT members for the first time ever. 590 big blue in Phoenix Arizona. Hello Steve. I got to talk to bombero 383 in New Mexico as well. Both in the same day. All from my mobile. Wasn't long but it was enough. Thanks for the reply guys.

I've only had two contacts on da bowl. 1 was a station out of Puerto Rico and the other one was because I called one of the alagators a mud duck! He responded back :) dirtyjob gave me that idea and it worked.
