I can get a pair for $20 local. I am reinventing my PC with Linux Mint Xfce ( a few weeks ago really) and would like an extra gig of ram. I currently have 1 512, and 2 256 sticks of mixed brands and speeds. It does show one gig at 333, so it works, but a pair of PC3200 would be really nice

If your asking to upgrade to more ram by all means do it, Linux likes a lot of ram just like Windows but uses it more efficiently. That board likes 3 gb.
