CONGRATS man that's awesome. Was pretty stoked when I got mine. Was talked into trying the extra at the time. The only thing I got right was my name. Awesome job now you have another reason to spend money, woo hoo

Nice! I got mine back to back when I got my Tech, was a last minute thing. I didn't use it right away but finally got an HF radio last Spring and have really enjoyed it since. It's a weird feeling at first to almost always be able to find an open band.

Great job, use it well!

Good to hear it Mark, don't wait too long to go for the "Extra", grab a book and study and there is a good app for your iPhone by "Roy Watson", a good practice exam, it's free too. You probably already know but here's the site to check if it's posted, [Please login or register to view this link] .

Hey dirtyjob...

I'm on the air just about every day...20M-10M chasing DX.

Give me a holler if you have the time...but you only get one chance.

Congrats Mark!!! If Bomb answers you on the ham bands, consider yourself special. Anything closer than 5000 miles, he'll just turn his nose up at you. :)
