Battery ground?
In a separate charge system with batteries in rear. Has anyone seen a benefit to running a ground from back battery up front to the alternator. I've ran both ways didn't notice a diff from going to frame. Maybe I didn't know what to look for. Lol

Re: Battery ground?
Well Im sure lots of different folks have different ideas.
The rule for grounds is to make the ground connection tight and clean. Further the ground should be as short as possible.
A long ground running up forward might not help much. Although extra grounds never hurt.
If it works grounding it to the frame then I would use it

Re: Battery ground?
I feel the same way. I like to keep the ground/negative as short as possible, less length of wire that might pick up noise.

I guess the old saying holds true. " if it's not broke don't fix it"

Re: Battery ground?
I've always ran the ground off the battery bank straight to the frame...Only wire coming from the front, is the hot wire off the front battery to the battery bank.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
