I am requesting help to translate this schematic so I can hook up a Cobra 19 ultra3 mic to it. Just taking a wild guess I think 4 is transmit and maybe 1 is audio but I just can't quite be sure. The radio receives without a mic attached so I think I can eliminate the RX wire from the mic when the jack is re soldered. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
hank

You got it, 1 is audio, 2 is ground, 3 is N/C, and 4 is transmit, as for what color wire goes where on the Cobra mic I'm not sure, they used several different manufacturers for their mics, a multimeter will help figure that out.

Ok Thank you Gregg!
I'm happy enough with the results to get a new mic and clean up the radio.

The thing to do now is to wire the radio jack to accept any Cobra/Galaxy/Ranger 4 pin wired mic, then there is no guess work next time.

That's a great idea I shouldn't worry about keeping that radio stock and if someone else winds up with it would be a helpful addition. Thank you!

I've been doing that to a lot of the old radios I get, makes interchanging mics quick and easy, most of the new radios are pretty standard now.
