Amp

My radio is a Connex 3300 and I am looking to add an amp. Someone reccomended I get a Texas Star 500. Does this sound like a good choice?

Texas star is a good amp!!! Look at Eastcoast amps also,,for the money you'll spend on a Texas Star you can have a Custom type amp, from eastcoast,,fatboy,,Davemade ect

I JUST GOT A EASTCOAST 4 PILL AND THAT THING SMOKES MAN I GOT IT IN A STOCK 04 CHEVY AND IT DOESNT EVEN PULL THE TRUCK DOWN AND IT IS SWINGING ABOUT 600W ON MY TIGHT METER AND FOR $320 YOU CANT BEAT THAT. I ALSO SEEN ON CBR ELECTRONICS THEY HAVE DAVEMADE FOR $320 AND I ALSO FATBOY IS THE SAME PRICE BUT YOU ONE THAT HAS TO CHOOSE.

DaveMade! Texas Star boxes are great, but they are AB-1 biased. So why not go class c, and get big audio!

I have a DaveMade and it is a good amp, however I am getting ready to buy an eastcoast 2x8. By the way I am going to combine the two and call it Gunner Built. LOL: J/k

Depends on what you want???

Texas Stars are very good clean sounding amp. AB1 class.
You can run am or ssb with out any problem, also has good filtering.
