SWR Meeting selection

I finally got everything installed and now I need to tune my antenna. Does anyone have suggestions for a decent SWR meter? There's a local shop that I can get to tune it ($7-$12), but the person I spoke to suggested getting an SWR meter and doing it myself ($20 + $6 jumper). I've never heard the name of the meter he sells - "Paradynamics PDC-7". Anyone ever heard of it? If so, how does it compare to [Please login or register to view this link]?

If there's a radio shack near you, they have a small one that works pretty darn good. Inexpensive too.

I agree with Bob. Whether some people want to admit it or not, from what I and and many others on this forum have found is that the Radio Shack meter is actually very accurate for checking swr and small amounts of power (less than 1000 watts). And it's not very expensive. :D
