Dodge PU Cobra 29 install

#390155

Post by samthetramp »

Hey I've had a Cobra 29 in my beater chevy for several years but want put a new radio into my 2018 Dodge PU. I'm wanting it to be a clean looking install and easily accessible but not sure where to go with it. Anyone have some pics of a radio mounted in a 2014-2018 Ram they would be willing to post or location of the radio they would share?

Thanks

MDYoungblood Where did you get the bent metal plates that appear to be what the radios mount to? I see the base is angle brackets from the hardware store. I could maybe get something like that to work.

The angles are from Home Depot. I like to use those slide mounts, makes it quicker when changing out the radios. I also use Anderson Powerpoles as quick connectors for the power leads.
