Led lights causing interference
Cb radios in the farm equipment. Gotta max out the squelch knob when I turn the light bar on. Anyway to fix this aside from wrapping the light bar in tinfoil

I haven't had much luck with those LED's...At least the one's I've bought, they didn't last either...

Re: Led lights causing interference
First you need to determine how the noise is entering the radio, is it the antenna or the power leads? A quick check is to unplug the antenna from the radio (don't key up) and if the noise goes away it is a problem with the antenna, still there then it is coming across the leads. I'm just guessing but the antenna is mounted close or on the light bar as well.

It might help to clamp some large ferrite beads to the power cable of the LED bar, and maybe a ferrite bead or two on the power cable to the radio. Something like this:
If possible, run the power cord through it multiple times.
Of course, if the circuitry of the light bar is causing the noise I'm not sure what else to do to prevent it.
