Hi I Cannot Find Any Info On A Fuzzbuster Z-50 Cb I Need To Know If It Is Am Or Fm There Is No Switch On The Device. So Im Pretty Dry Of Info.

They were sold in the mid 80's and went out of the CB radio market as fast as they came in. You have to be careful with these radios, if it doesn't come with the stock microphone, don't purchase it. They were the first to use a Electret element mic and the radio had a "phantom" power in receive mode to charge up a cap inside it.

Alright thanks i have a am walkie that i want to use it with so thats good news and it has a original mic with it!

I never had a Fuzzbuster CB but I did once have a combination scanner/radar detector that had the police frequencies programmed in for each state. Just choose your state and drive. Of course it had to be mounted on the dash or on a visor in order to detect radar signals. It was somewhat old when I got it so I think it was X-band radar only, and likely the preprogrammed frequencies were out of date. I ended up selling it later.

this one is just a 40 ch cb without anythig else and there isnt much to detect with a radar detector on the lakes of finland
