I have a sc-100t-bil. What to know if it will work with my cobra 29 & what is bil

First question is will it work with a Cobra 29, hmm, yes and no, the rf power maybe too high for that old amp, if your radio doesn't have a swing kit or been modded for extra wattage it will work if used gently. The "BIL" stands for "Bi-linear", means it has a receive preamp builtin as well.
