President Johnny III
I have installed 2 President Johnny III radios in two different Jeeps. One Johnny III operates perfectly. The other Johnny III has an issue. When the radio is powered off, then powered back on, the radio resets the channel to 19. It also resets the radio options. If the user has the Noise Blank or Hi Cut feature on, these features, along with all other features will be reset and therefore turned off when the radio is powered back on. Both radios are installed the same; straight to the battery posts for the positive and the ground. The SWR's are also perfect. I have contacted President. They said there were no recalls or other issues reported by other customers. Thoughts?

Re: President Johnny III
If it is a brand new radio, send it back for exchange, the problem is with it. Probably a cold solder joint on the board.
