Microphone tester
Just wanted to say the microphone tester I got has paid for itself in questioning myself.
Got a realistic navaho today was told it was only putting out 1 watt, which I found to be false think guy needs to test his cables cause I got 4 watts out into a dummy load and 3.76watts to an antenna. But I was getting no modulation. Put the microphone on the tester no workie, pulled another out of the microphone bucket it works fine so off it goes with the radio.
10 minutes total, a tool that keeps me from spinning my wheels and tells me right off the bat good or bad is a winner in my book.

Re: Microphone tester
I bought mine from GI Joe's, like you said, it's paid for itself several times over.
