i have a deer hunter 100 i replaced the 1446 transistor and it shorted it out and i have found that it has 3 of the pads that the transistor solder to are showing reading ground i know that there only 2 grounds on the transistor thank you

Those little single pill amps were sold under several names, Tornado, Mosquito, and a couple more. They all resemble the Palomar single pill which were highly cloned so a schematic from those would help in your search. Sorry about the 1446 going south, I know how that feels, a MRF455 would work too. I'd start by checking caps on the output side and replace the 100ohm resistor.
