Using a Yaesu FT-991A with a MFJ -962D Manual Tuner to my Crushcraft R-8 antenna.
Just received my ARRL WAS award in 20 meters. 8-)

I have enjoyed radios as a hobby for years.

Congrats on your WAS award. Been into the hobby since 1992 and CB since 1978 when I was a kid. I am using LOTW and N3FJP's logging software whole package. It works great on field day too. Jump in the DX window on 3785-3795, 7125-7159 at night also 14.175 with long path to the land down under around 20:00 UTC. That R8 is a nice antenna and we put one up on field day. This hobby is a lot of fun but I still have a separate station for 11M running a President Washington running 12w up and down the coast. It's fun to meet new people every day and make life long friendships. Good luck and look for ya on the bands.

That is great ExtraClass!
Certainly quite an accomplishment in this day and age.

I've had my ham tech ticket a little less than two years.
Still learnin' how to get across the street.

Certainly looking to learn tons more from great folks like you in this forum.
73 till another time down the logs, as they say.

Mike
