I had one for years, used it on my RCI 2995DX. No complaints here. Never used it on Real Ham gear only outlaw 11 meter stuff.

Good deal. Also not sure if you are aware of some nets you could likely hear, here are a few nets I join into sometimes. [Please login or register to view this link] . Normally 3.925, 3.910, and there is one on 3.905 but I dont remember the name of it.

I would say it is not a bad microphone but I personally am not into "echo". For your Galaxy base, a nice TUG or TUP9 stand D104 (6 wire version) with a W2ENY element mod or similar would be the ticket, or a Turner +3, it has a bassier tone.

Yes, I saw that also. I'm not a big fan of the Echo feature but I like the unit and will most likely purchase one for my CB Base in the future.

You have a Happy Thanksgiving as well.

If I bought it, it would be hooked up and I'd just wrap the box for Christmas. JK..

I have received good feed back from local CB'ers that my new Galaxy desk mic is working well and my modulation is very clear. Glad I purchased it although I really don't use the echo talk nor the roger beep functions that much.
