hey guys, i have a police scanner in my explorer, and the radio shack mag mount anteanna really sucks, always falls over, i need help finding a better one. i seen a hustler antenna but it says it Covers 30-50, 148-174, 430-450, and 800-950 MHz, my local cops are on 460.**Censored** so it wont pick it up will it? i really only need a stronger magnet, my anteanna works great. could i get a stronger magnet and keep my old antenna to put on it? it dont have threads it the whip is held in by a set screw it has 3 sections and the lower section is thicker than the two other ones...heres a link to what i have now, thanks for your help, i have been searching the net for a week for a new one

ok one final question before i order some parts, if anyone has seen a crappy wallyworld cb anteanna for 10 bucks when u unscrew the spring its not the normal 3/8 x 24 thread. its smaller. thats what my scanner anteanna is. i found the huslter 95 lb. pull magnet and its a 3/8 x 24 thread. i seen some adaptors maybe i can use one to make the current anteanna fit on the larger magnet? anyone know what kinda the smaller one is called? thanks
