running dual antennas
running dual antennas
hello, i am running a cobra29NWWX peaked and tweaked with a wilson 1000 antenna...... if i use a t-connector can i run my k-40 antenna as well as the wilson at the same time? would there be any benefit to this??
Good choice.vhrightnow wrote:thanks everyone....ill just stick with my wilson.......
Now about that amp you've been thinking about....
Just kidding.
What you're talking on there is one of the best "bang for the buck" setups there is. It won't smoke mud-ducks, but at least your on the air!
An aftermarket mic would be your next cheapest improvement.

Well...I sorta agree with this. Except for the "small linear amp" part!Choirboy wrote:STBR is right, as always! Look at the ST-65DX noise cancelling mic from Sparky's ($29.95). I have one on my 29WXNWST and really like it, and everyone else on this forum who has one seems to agree. The next thing might be a small linear amp....

Once you have had a tast of "POWER"..."FIRE-N-Da-Wire"...It's like getting turned on to drug's!
Before you know it, you'll find yourself wanting MORE POWER! Then you'll be wanting a even bigger linear! Then a few weeks later...Even Bigger Box! It just go's ON and ON! :D
Then before you know it, your bank account is bone dry, and your closet is over-flowing with Linear's!
So go ahead, and bit-the-bullet, and get yourself a amp that cost more than your first car!:D
....just a thought. You can always go down to the local Salvation Army to eat in their soup-line
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
