anytone 6666 driving klv550
I have a brand new anytone 6666 and a klv550 amp. I was wondering why my radio will not drive the amp. The radio on low is dead keying 2watt swinging 5 watt on am. The amp will only do 50 watt. The amp works fine on my cobra 2000 that has more swing. I changed nothing except the radio.

do you have a different mic to try? sounds like a "latching" relay isn't picking up ,

The radio doesn't have any swing so it won't trip the relay. Im just going to play it stock443 Arizona wrote: August 8th, 2022, 11:02 am do you have a different mic to try? sounds like a "latching" relay isn't picking up ,

That amp needs about 15-20w peak input...not more than 20-25w
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

no swing, no matter, you want to change voltage and that can be done 35 ways from well(you know)
so if you tell what radio and mic you are tying to adapt to, the solution comes closer.

Hey there 443,
You are sooooo right. Is it possible that you could have the exact specifications for this pushrod we discuss?
I am looking to develop a project for 3D printing.
Discussion of the dual push rod is possible, and if there are dimensions available for them as well.
This could turn into something big.
Hope to hear more from you soon.
Good luck with the antenna too. I hate it when they get hit like that. Keep those groundings buried deeply.
73,
Mike
