Stryker SR-955hpc Channel Selector.....?

#409236

Post by webster9zip »

Hi,
Just set up my, fresh out of the box, Stryker sr-955hpc radio. I have not performed the 11 meter mod yet but, I am only able to make channel selections within the 10 Meter band (28 MHz). And am unable to access 12 Meter (24 MHz)...? The Owner's Manual isn't the best and I have a lot to learn regarding this radio. Any help and direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jimbo

I didn’t know that radio did 12m band but looking at the manual, gee, learn something new everyday.

I believe you have to move the band selector switch to “band” , then use the selector to change it to 12m, then switch it to vfo for the desired frequency.

Thank you MDYoungblood.
I found along with the 11 meter mod, it also opens up the 12m frequencies. And while switched to vfo, the channel selector can be used to adjust to more specific frequencies through the function options.
