Buy a linear amplifier and stick it between the radio and the antenna....problem solved.

What you secreted from me and the most expensive solution is very hasty. What I intend to do and replace the components is the transmission amplifier, to go from 7 watts to 14 watts with a negligible expense but which gives more satisfaction. A friend I met on the internet sent me the instructions tomorrow I get to work. Thanks for answering me .

Hey Coleman5867..

After completion of your project, post the details of the components you replaced and with what.

Also, post the final results.

That would be helpful to others contemplating this endeavor.

Hello Coleman. By increasing power from 7 watts to 14 I doubt you'll notice much of a difference but please keep us updated. Ill be curios if you notice a difference. PS. Nice to see Italy in here! Benvenuti

With it being a 1990’s model radio it probably has a 1969 final and a 2163 driver. The only upgrade would be to change them and supporting components to 520 or 13N10 transistors to give it a little boost. At one time there was a kit for just that upgrade.
Was a nice looking radio in it’s day.

Hello, before you waste your money and time.Remember the old rule, it takes a 4X power increase to get just 1, yes 1,S unit on your meter. Regards warlock35po.
