2970 Amp board repurpose
So I recently was given a 2970 that was rougher than a night in jail. The radio didn’t function do to a badly blown trace caused by careless installation. I could fix the radio but like I said it’s rough. However it appears to have a functioning 2 pill 2290 Toshiba amp board. My question is where should I stick it? On a 29ltd, galaxy 959, magnum s3, cobra 148F, or just put it in a box and use it as a stand alone unit?
I think I have the amps wiring figured out simply hot, ground, 8v keyed power and antenna in and out. Any suggestions or any issues I may encounter. Has anyone ever done this?? Thanks in advance.
