Megawatt Power Supply
Got my new 50 amp Megawatt power supply today, loving it so far. Fan is pretty quiet, I can barely hear it running.

Is that a continuous or switching power supply? Just curious. I may be shopping around for a new one soon. My Astron RS-35m is showing its age from when I bought it in 1995. I hope I don't have sticker shock when I price around for another one.

Sorry, I just saw this. The megawatt 50 is a switching power supply. I have had it a few weeks now and I like it. The fan is pretty quiet also. I haven't put a heavy load on it so I don't know how well it will keep up. My radio does not pick up any noise from it at all. I tell you for $150 , it is a deal if it keeps going the way it has. Lots of copies out there so make sure its a Megawatt. 73s
