Basic DK/swing adjustment on Cobra 29 and 148GTL...?

Is adjusting the dead key and swing on my Cobras something I can do myself by adjusting a couple of pots? The service manuals, schematics, etc. are on CB Tricks and I have a Radio Shack handheld (the evil little device that got me into this whole thing :twisted: ) that I can listen to myself on and a Radio Shack meter....

I figure that if I'm going to learn this stuff I may as well learn on radios that I bought cheap and used.

Or, should I look for an ad for a saw-sharpening school in a cheap magazine and hope to find a radio repair school ad nearby....

use a sparktune kit, thats what I use and love them, pretty cheap and easy
