... i have a galaxy II mobile radio with a sadelta power mike which i bought on ebay.works great.hate the sadelta wanted to put astatic mike on radio instead of sadelta.was at buddys who been fixing radios for years. he put the astatic noise cancelling mike on it and would not modulate but will throw a carrier.. put the sadelta on cobra 29 and 25 works great.the astatic on cobra 29 and cobra 25 and works great. now he put a power mike by cobra and it will modulate but not standard mikes ????? any reason why it would need a power mike for modulation read the mic wiring guide and couldnt sort it out.you can listen to it when mike is unpluged so its probably relayed.hope this helps mike
