Hello, I am just picking up the old CB after years of being out of it. Use to Run a Iroquois Cardon 40 with ALL the toys.. I've picked up this Uniden PC68 XL and I've searched all over the net looking for mods for this thing and it's horrible trying to find them, I've found posts stating the mods for the cobra 25 ltd will work as it's the same board but when I opened up the case I couldn't locate any other Lseries other than L8 mentioned in the swing mods. I do not want to replace any finals or anything I would just like to set this radio to dead key around 2 watts to drive my amp and swing up to 18-20 like it should with the stock finals.
I would also Like to improve the MOD on this Radio and in a post for a cobra LTD25 it says to turn up VR5 and I am wondering if this is true for this radio because that I DO see it.

L19 L18 L17 L16 L8 L5 L4 L3 L2 L1 There IS another Lsomething beside 3 black Capacitors and soldered to something immediately beside it but the board is covered in a WAX from the company I guess and I can't read anything about it. There was ALSO Wax on the TOP of it that i removed to reveal the dial.
