What Channel?

Do you guys ever try to shoot skip to other forum members on the same channel?
Little mudducks like me aren't getting out on the superbowl.
How about setting one channel at a specific time of day on a specific day of the week where and when all the forum members can try and contact each other in our own superbowl if you will.
I'm new to this forum so maybe you guys already do that.
I haven't really been talkin' skip in years.Just the accidental stuff like getting nebraska when I'm calling for a local.
Still fun though!!!!!!!!!!

the problem with picking a day and time to do it is that while you may have skip rolling i may not.im still trying to figure out how the big boys on the bowl know when the skip is gonna be rolling.but the last 2 days ive had skip comeing in strong but havent been getting out.i made 2 contacts the last 2 days.but if you wanna try it next time skip is rolling,my home channel is 7.just yell out for the grease monkey.if i hear ya ill try to answer.

LOL ch. 7 is too close to ch. 6 and you get too much bleedover to be able to talk or hear on it. same goes for ch. 5. lol.

I spend 90% of the time in the bowl. Two pills and a box kite. Not the final solution, but I do get in there. Cubical quad's are cool. I'd like to see what 800w-1kW will do.

Yeah, pick times and days and ch. and I'll try and get in there too.

when the skip is rolling good i can be found on channels,6,7,11,26,27,28, and 26.915.if i am in the truck the radio is on.yell for me on any of those channels,if i hear you ill try to answer.then we can try to take it to an empty or quieter channel.

Just a quick question a few years back a bunch of locals here decide to call ourselves DX Bootleggers that's where bootlegger158 came from

Now when i joined this forum 1 was given a number of 1458 is there anything that you guys put in front of the number you have been given

It would be cool to here other members of this forum during skip

Well so far I've managed to talk skip with CBRT forum members BigGuns,BazookaJoe,Big bopper and Blackjack........I just noticed all of there handles start with a "B" All were on 26.915 except for bigbopper and we were on CH28.For the most part as soon as skip starts up i just go to low side CH36 (26.915) and hang around so i don't have to fool with locals talking on the regular 40 channels.Low side 36 seams to be all skip shooters.If you hear me calling "66 in the mag" holler back.

Ch 33 for me right now. It's kind of nice when you are not on one of the "who can yell over who" channels, talking to the locals, and someone from skipland comes in. Many times you can have an actual conversation!

Of course, this is only once channel away from Marshall McCloud, and I say hey to him when I hear him splashing a bit!

I've lost my voice so far for this entire week but as soon as I get it back I will try and holler at each and every one of you.
My local is channel 8 at eight p.m. on Friday nights.
I jump around for skip in my mobile I haven't found the right one yet.Channel 25 is nice some good folks out there.
Mostly over here in Ne Connecticut we get the sandpile.Which is cool, I love Florida.'Tis a great place to visit!!!!!!!!
