Cobra 29? Night Watch?

Is it possible take my Cobra LTD 29 Classic radio without the night watch faceplate and get a night watch faceplate and use it on my radio or would it not be worth it?

If that wouldn't work then were can i get appearance mods for this radio like the led lighting and channel counter in other colors or other faceplate's other than the rebel and American flag....... websites?

yep, if you want a whole set, companies sell them that way. Buying them one at a time they get expensive @ $7.99 each, you wire them inside the radio though

Those lit up switches are pretty sweet; but then again it would get expensive at $7 /each!

Those knobs can be very pretty, but they can also cause potential problems. If you look closely at the little circuit board that holds the LED's, you'll notice that the contacts are not insulated. They do provide some heat shrink for making sure the knob shaft doesn't touch, but you're on your own as far as keeping the contacts on the back of the little circuit board from hitting the chassis of the radio behind the knob shaft. I've seen more than a few radios come across my bench that had major shorts and circuit board burn-outs because of improper installations of those knobs.
