I found a modulation mod for a small radio shack radio. It is listed as r67. I was wondering if it was just a matter of clipping the resister or do I have to change the value? Or do I add a variable resister? Or can I add a potentiometer to the radio in line from the resister? I am new to this tech work and it was a freebie! I figured this was a good starting point!

Depending on the specific model, there is usually a POT already on the board for adjusting the modulation level. If not, I'd recommend experimenting with higher resistor values.
