Uniden PC78LTW, newb with mod q's...

Just purchased a pc78LTW, pretty nice radio I might add. Running a wilson 1000 mag mount. The shop i bought it from gave me a free peak and tune, I watched him do it from a distance and it looked like he turned 2 different screws while watching a meter. i dont know a whole lot about these radios so im not sure what he did, he said it is as maxed as it can get without changing the finals.

Should I believe that? If I open it up, could I check to see what he did and if its right.

Is there anything I can do that is pretty simple? im no electronics genuis but im trying to learn.

P&T is pretty simple, yes believe,,,bigger finals is the only way to get more out of the radio, or add an amp,,Welcome to the forum!!
