Hey guys I was wondering something ....Will coax stretch? I have about 30' hung from the tree to the house and was wondering I should run a steel cable that length and then attach the coax to it .....But I dont want to go overboard on it so it may be fine...I am just trying to rule out any problems that may be in my future :-P

Yes, run a steel cable...even rope. Something to support the weight. It actually breaks down the jacketing and puts stress on the shielding more than anything. But indeed the copper center lead can and does stretch a little. It's much better to help it all out by simply supporting it as you've mentioned.
