wow its a great day for skipland. the morning of May 16. made contact with at least 20 stations all over the western and central states.
even the mobiles were makin it. nice to have an unlocked tuner as alot of stations can slide a little and get into a cleaner freq. works nice when so much yakkin going on.
there has been nonstop jabberin this whole morning. mudducks to dogwalkers.
even heard some clown from Boise,,the 521, but i dont think it was the Bozo

295 what do you go by on the radio,,,295? cause i was hearing a snotload of northern CA and returning some calls but was so thick with others talking that it was hard to get a word in edge ways.

I had my best skip contact thus far tonight. Rye Whiskey 389 in West Virginia. Said he had a Connex 3300 in a pickup truck, that thing was pegging my meter!

wow heard panama, hawaii then it just went nuts stations from too many places to count heard 295 a couple of times just too darn busy to verify

Skip was open last night from 9 pm to about 10 pm. Had 1 contact from Chicago 17 am.

Skip's rolling good right now, mostly the Bam, Smoky Hill's, and the Carolina's on 28.

Skip opened up a couple of times in the past 2 hours. Ch 6 and 11. No contacts tho.
Update: 9:15 pm Made contact Triple 6 Hawaii and another Hawaii station 38 LSB.

Skip opened up for a while yesterday and last night, made several contacts. Turned the radio on first thing this morning and it's as quiet as a church mouse, not even the normal static, had to check the antenna to see if it was there.

I was listening scanning channels, channel 6 I heard some mumbling. It didn't sound normal so I switched to LSB, it was still not readable. When I switched to USB I heard a couple dudes talking in Japanese. I couldn't get them to respond. Sounded kind of militaryish.

Skips been on for an hour tonight. Tried calling 295. And 443. On 38. Some clown playing with the radio playing tv recordings

17 on but fading. Can't get a contact tonight.

Update: 10:30 pm. Made contact with a fella in Anchorage Alaska. Weird, in state contact. 38 LSB. He said he's a ham but loves 11 meters.

Skip rolling in from the east coast yesterday, contacts in NH, NJ and NY. Called and listened for MDY but never heard him on 38LSB, maybe someday.

Skip rolling heavy tonight. 38 LSB holy moly. Made bunch of contacts. Heard Colorado Wyoming Canada Washington. Chatted with 320 Canada for few minutes. We had to move to 39 LSB, 38 too crowded.

wow this is getting unbelievable, skip is blowing at 11:09 pm thursday night may 25, clean signals from all the SW of USA
CA,TX,AZ,, was going till 1:30 am, probably all night.

Had some skip from Italy and Spain yesterday on .555 It has been silenzio here for a very long time now. Only some skip from Sweden.

once again, i turn on the radio and its wall to wall SKIPLAND made a contact with Hawaii , now this morning a guy in OK is saying he is hearing a station near Nome,AK. and i"m hearing it from ALL over the USA right now.7:30MST
static was really low last night and again this morning allthou it is picking up now. hearing sooo many operators, cant even write down the numbers fast enough much less get a word in
