I've got quite a few, since I got started in the radio hobby as a shortwave listener. My main receiver is an Icom R75, I have a Target HF3S for a secondary receiver, I use an RTL dongle and homebrew HF converter for SDR, I've still got my good old Sony 2010 portable, a Radio Shack DX-402 portable, a Hallicrafters S-38B boat anchor, an old Realistic Patrolman-9 that was given to me to use for parts but I didn't have the heart to tear it apart, and a homebrew regen I put together from scratch from plans I found online.

Oops, I forgot to list my GE Transoceanic solid state "portable" receiver from, I'm guessing the 1970's. It's the Royal 3000-1 solid state version, I believe the last Transoceanic they ever made. Need to dig it out and play with it again.

Kaito 1103.
Frequency range is 100kHz - 30,000kHz, w/ SSB as included option.
AM, also.
Does have Scanning - however, misses signals unless really, really strong (& no way to adjust., e.g., squelch).
Now that I am back on CBRadioTalk... I will look forward to monitoring for CB/SSB nets, when not on my CB/SSB Cobra.
What if the "hokie-pokie" really is "...what it's all about!" ? ? ?

I use a Yaesu FRG 7700 with the Yaesu FRT 7700 tuner with a 9:1 homemade balun and about 70 foot of wire. Works really well although SWL is not what it used to be. I did have a NASA Target HF receiver but that thing was far too sensitive and pulled in way too much noise so it had to go.

I just bought a cheap (Chinese, I'm guessing) SW portable from Amazon for my son for Christmas as a stocking stuffer. It's apparently got a rechargeable battery, and has a nice red LED numeric display. I can't wait to play with it after he unwraps it.
