How Much Pwr Are They Running?

No one should ever need to run no more than 1,000 to 3,000 watts and that's pushing it. Many CBers with large amounts of watts (20kw) are on the radio to fight -- such a waste of energy. Most have good talking stations but they have this need to shower who is boss or whose power will out talk the other instead of just enjoying the fact we can talk to each and have fun. Fighting is wasted energy -- same dang thing every days for years and they never get enough of the same thing................

There was one guy I found on Facebook who was one of the channel 6 guys. He uses a huge beam at his house. It looks like a row of letter Y's together.

I've seen a few guys who claim to run big powrr on the bowl but they are very reluctant to tell you how much power they're running. Some of them post pics of their amps, which imo resemble a gun safe...tall, dark and upright.

Motor Mouth Maul out in California is sometimes heard on the bowl. I have no idea how much power he's running. What I do know is he has (or had) a ginormous antenna, that was like 84 feet long. He had such a strong signal, I could run with the squelch all the way up and STILL have him break thru. And I was in Missouri at the time.

Motor Mouth is a bad duddddddde. Much respect. He does use his brains and I don't think he is pushing the heavy power that a lot of these guys are pushing.
