I just got a Daiwa CN-101L cross needle, power/SWR meter for my base. I really like its big, lighted face--and the fact that I can see forward power, reflected power, and SWR at the same time without throwing any switches. The factory calibration was pretty close, but slightly low, but it is really easy to recalibrate. It was probably good enough, but I am a perfectionist about any measuring equipment...so out came the scope, calorimeter setup, and the dummy antenna.

President HR2510 (roger beep issue) in otherwise cherry condition. A Palomar Elite 250, and finally found a Wilson 1000 roof mount kit to go with my 10 year old 1000. Lovin the radio and not getting distance on AM skip across this wonderful country. It had no issues on SSB, just needed a little fire in the wire for AM.

This thread has been going for a long time now! Wonder where Foxhunter's been?
I’ve been out of radio for a bit, just haven’t felt like using it these past couple years, but recently I’ve been chatting locally a bit though. Yesterday I got a decent score at a local thrift store. I generally pass on small mobile CB’s I see and such, basically if it isn’t worth anything I don’t buy it even if it is CB related.
But this time seen an old Radio Shack DX-394 receiver. Was pretty dirty and wouldn’t power on, but once home I got it sorted and it is up and running nicely now; was only $8.99 and I knew it was worth more even for parts so I bought it. Granted, it is a cheaper unit and not the greatest in the world, they aren’t bad for the price and especially what I paid. I will play with it for a while and see what I want to do with it.
That’s the only thing radio related I can think of for a while… Well, late last year I picked up an old D&A Phantom (tan/brown version) which I gutted for the case for a project I've yet to complete. Paid I think $35 for it which I thought was a decent price being it had the transformers and whatnot; was a lot of rivets to drill out, took a while, probably not worth the effort and next time will pass and just get some sheet metal, lol…

Not equipment per se but I got a can of Deoxit. Pricey. Last Radio? FT-950 but that's for another band(s) Oh, I did retube my Palomar amp and it quickly took a dump on me. Looks like the transformer winding shorted out...bummer.
Does beer count as radio gear? 'cause I bought some of that too.

Since being retired , my wife and I really like to yard sale as much as possible. Yes, it's true what they say, another man's trash is someone else's treasure. AS we catch a sale, I always ask if they have any CB radios. Some will answer, what's that, some will say NO. But sometime's you'll get lucky, as I did last year. I found a really clean Uniden Washington setting on a step ladder late one saturday. I asked about it, he bought it new, never molested(just talkback), he was aking $20.00, I offered $10.00 final offer, he took it. It is an addition I will not part with, a great great radio with awesome audio and big ears on too, ssb works perfect. I also have a Shakespear Bigstick(25 yrs) that does an outstanding job. Just my two cents worth, good day.

Tram Big Cat 9 mounted center of headache rack all the way at top. Whole antenna over roof. Galaxy DX-48T and Ranger SRA-198 mic. Love it. Much better range from antenna and the Toshiba 2290 pills work great on this AM Beast.

I also found a nice uniden ssb base at my local flea market, a madison that the seller said, "oh yeah it works." He had a $50 price tag on it but I was able to get it for $20. Unfortunately it didn't work, so my local ham/cb tech spent a couple hours to repair it, costing me another $65, but in the long run, I'm happy to say that I still got a good deal on it, flea-bay has a couple madisons listed now but are going for $100+

lol Eskimo, you are definately a member of Radio's Anonymous but its better to have a great hobby than putting time and money towards something negative i say.
I picked up a few new toys recently...
Bought another Browning MKIII, this one has a Siltronix VFO, I bought it from a forum member as a matter of fact "masterplan" , I happen to know Toby from another FB group we are in. Anyways I am awaiting that package to arrive from him.
I also have picked up a Kenwood TS-870SAT, great rig, I love it.
Did a trade for a SBE Land Command base and a friend gave me a NOS SBE Power mic still in the box for it.
Finally I couldnt resist buying a nicely made "Homebrew" Straight 5 tube base amp that is set up for 10/15/20 and 40 meters.
I will add some pics when I can.

I'd be interested in an old turner RK56 mic if it works and is not a new one you can get from flying j. let me know and I can thin out your list.
