is there anywhere that builds custom brackets for leece alternators? I am thinking about adding a 200 amp or bigger leece to my dodge and I dont have the tools or time to fab up something myself for this. any info and help would be greatly appreciated.

if you can make templetes out of cardboards you should be able to go to a fabricator shop and get one made, might have to make afew trips back but it's an idea!

He's got a good point, maybe expensive, but it's a great idea.

there's a thread on this forum named "Under The Hood" where some of our forum members have shared info on how they added an extra alt. to their mobiles and also give suggestions on where to look for the brackets, mounts etc. To just add on one leece you could find what you need at a salvage yard and do it yourself at hardly any expense at all.

Give me some measurments, and I can get some brackets made for you right here at the shop.... It will be a hell of a lot cheaper than going to a fab shop...

Punkin Head,
from the look of it he used a piece of bar stock and attached it to the bottom bolt of the factory alternator to keep the geometry consistent with his serpentine belt. I can't tell from the pic if he did the same at the rear of the alternator but what he did in front is visible and probably available at your nearest salvage yard.
